Edurne Redondo studied Chemistry at Universidad del País Vasco (Leioa, Spain). She spent her 5th year at Aarhus Universitet (Denmark) with an Erasmus scholarship where she carried out a project on synthesis and use of precursors for growing polymer brushes on surfaces at the Organic Surface Chemistry group.

In 2011, she worked in the Technology Centre of REPSOL (Móstoles, Spain) in the Department of Analytical Chemistry using a Gas- Chromatography Mass-Spectrometer during 7 months with an Óptimus scholarship.

She obtained her Master in Polymers and Biopolymers at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain) in 2013, in which she made a project on synthesis of conducting polymers and applications on drug detection at Material Innovation and Molecular Engineering (IMEM) group.

Edurne started working at CIC Energigune (Miñano, Spain) as a lab technician in 2012 and since 2014, she is a PhD at the Supercapacitors group, where she is focused on the study of nanoporous carbons and electrolytes for energy storage.
