She has expertise in electrochemical characterizations of carbon-based materials for supercapacitor applications and has the knowledge in gas adsorption and X-Ray diffraction techniques. She has also experience with in situ techniques developed for studying the ion adsorption mechanisms at the electrolyte/carbon electrode interface during the charge/discharge of supercapacitor systems. Her current research interests focus on the formulation and the characterizations (electrochemical, physico-chemical) of microporous carbons and transition metal oxides for supercapacitor and battery applications. 

Research activities: Synthesis and characterisation (structural and electrochemical properties) of carbon materials for supercapacitor electrodes.
