 - M.S. in Physics, 1995, Moscow State University (Russia).

- Ph.D. in Physics, 1999, Institute of crystallography, Russian academy of Sciences (Russia).

- Postdoctoral Researcher, 2000-2001, Fritz-Haber Institute Max Planck Society (Germany).

Research activities of Dr. Vladimir Roddatis have been focused on the structural characterization of different materials, with main interests in application of electron microscopy. His Ph.D. thesis was devoted to structural characterization of grain boundaries and thin films in metal oxides and superconductors. A deeper insight into relation between structural and chemical properties of Dr. Roddatis´s research was during his Post Doc staying in Fritz-Haber Institute in Germany. While working on this position, Vladimir Roddatis demonstrated an outstanding research potential and obtained results published in 8 papers including high impact factor journals: Angewandte Сhemie and Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics within a relatively short period of research activity.

Recently Dr. Roddatis published seven papers in referred journals including Carbon and Physical Review Letters.
