CIC Energigune is seeking an experienced Researcher to engage in the Polymer and Li-S lines and belonging to the Cells and Electrochemistry Research Group

Job function:

  • Synthesis and characterization of polymer electrolytes
  • Proof of concept study of polymer-based solid lithium batteries
  • Characterize the materials using analytical instruments.
  • Collaborate in writing proposals to secure funding from government and industrial sources.

What we need

Qualification requirements:

  • PhD in Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Electrochemistry or related fields.
  • Training and expertise in polymer preparation, and lithium batteries.
  • Experience in analysis of NMR, DSC, TGA, electrochemical work station, and scanning electron Microscopy.
  • A team player who can collaborate with other groups, technical centers, and industries.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Experience in solid-state polymer electrolytes and energy storage technologies (e.x. Li-S systems) would be an added advantage.
