She received her undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of the Basque Country in 2008. During the last year of her degree she participated in an internship at Labein-Tecnalia in the automotive unit, working on electromagnetic forming of steels for automotive applications.

In 2008 she joined the Microelectronics & Microsystems Unit of Ceit-IK4 as a predoctoral researcher, where she focused her work in the field of solid state gas sensors and nanotechnology.  In 2011 she received her PhD degree in Applied Physics from Tecnun-University of Navarra. Since then, she continued working at Ceit-IK4 as a researcher, developing projects related to industrial and energy monitoring applications. She participated in 15 industrial and financed projects, both from European commission (FP7, H2020) and Spanish or Basque Government.  Since 2015 she participated in a new pilot line related to functional inks and printed electronics, where she focused her work on new printed sensors, as for example for online battery monitoring under H2020-ALISE project.  During these years at Ceit-IK4, she gained technical experience and became an expert on sensors, thin film and printing technologies and materials characterization. She has also developed management skills being in charge of European and industrial projects.

Non-confidential results from the projects derived in 14 publications in high impact peer-review journals and participation on 30 conferences.

In 2017 she obtained a positive evaluation from the ANECA as an associate professor, as she was a teacher of materials science and instrumentation electronics at Tecnun. 

Currently she is working at CIC energiGUNE as a postdoc doing her research in industrial projects in the device prototyping group.
