CIC energiGUNE is seeking an experienced Post-doctoral Researcher to engage in applied fundamental research activities and industrial projects. The postdoc will work in two parallel topics, one dedicated to the design and development of Advanced Cathode materials for Li-ion batteries and the second dedicated to Post-Mortem analysis and determination of the main degradation mechanisms in industrial projects.
Job function
Synthesis of inorganic compounds.
Physicochemical and structural characterization of materials and cell components using various analytical techniques (XRD, SEM, Raman, DSC/TG, FTIR, etc.).
Prepare positive and negative composite electrodes for Li-ion batteries.
Electrochemical characterization (e.g. galvanostatic charge-discharge tests, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy)
Perform post-mortem analysis and understand failure mechanisms
