Aitor Martínez de Morentin got his degree in chemistry by the Universidad del País Vasco in 2022. He took part in an Erasmus+ program at the Uniwersytet Jana Długosza of Czestochowa (Poland), where he cooperated in the characterization of organometallic compounds by XRD, SEM, and TEM. He studied in 2023 for a master´s in molecular chemistry and homogeneous catalysis in the Universidad de Zaragoza, where he did research on catalytic characteristics of rhodium compounds.
During his stage in the university, he published an article about the synthesis and characterization of rhodium compounds and its catalytic properties. Finally, in February 2024, he joined CIC energiGUNE as laboratory technician.
