Regarding Amaia’s training as a psychologist, her first professional experience was in the QUALIKER research group related mainly to the methodological part of the research they carried out. Later, when she started her career in the field of organizational and work psychology, she had two brief but enriching experiences, one as an HR technician and the other as a training technician. Estebanez also did her final thesis in this area of psychology, which focused on employee recognition. Once she graduated, determined to broaden her knowledge, she decided to study a master´s degree in HR and employment management, and this led her to her last professional experience, as a job counsellor, before joining CIC energiGUNE. Throughout her career, Amaia have also had the opportunity to participate in different programs that have had a great impact on both her professional and personal life: the Talentia Program of Bizkaia Talent and the Mentoring program organized by EHUalumni in which she is currently involved.
