Ariba Adnan graduated in Chemical engineering from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. She did her bachelor´s finale project on designing high-pressure electrochemical cells for carbon dioxide utilization. In pursuit of learning more about the current revolutionary technologies in the field of energy storage, she joined the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program in Materials for Energy Conversion and Storage. She did an internship in the field of thermal energy storage focused on improving solid-state chemical reactions at CIC energiGUNE last summer. Currently, she is doing her master thesis in the Solid-State Chemical Reactions group, within the Thermal Energy Storage area focused on hydrogen production.
