Hasibuzzaman Mahmud completed his graduation in mechanical engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in Bangladesh. His bachelor´s thesis on numerical simulation of phase change materials and another experimental project for thermal management were published in international journals. He then pursued his Master’s with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship in Decentralised Smart Energy Systems (DENSYS) at Université de Lorraine, France. In the second year, he specialized in thermal energy engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading books, watching movies, and playing the guitar.
