IÑIGO AGIRRE MUÑOZ

Presentation

Iñigo Agirre started as a scholarship holder while he was studying for a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Mondragón. There he had the opportunity to discover research thanks to the projects in which he was involved in the fluids department. After graduating, he did a master´s degree in advanced materials engineering and did his master´s thesis on the circular economy at Shuton in Vitoria. In December 2021 he undertook an experience abroad (Linz, Austria) where he worked on the characterization of materials and design of hot stamping production processes within a European project aimed at obtaining lightweight brake calipers (carbon fiber and glass fiber) for racing motorbikes. In October 2022 he joined CIC energiGUNE as a project engineer for thermal energy storage research.
