Maren Bustamante Romeo graduated in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of the Basque Country, developing a solid foundation in the principles and applications of renewable energies. During his time at the university, his interest in clean technologies and sustainable development strengthened, cultivating a passion for innovation and energy efficiency.
His professional career took a significant turn when he entered the automotive sector in a leading company. In this environment, Maren discovered his fascination with industrial engineering, especially in areas that intersect with renewable energies and electricity. This experience not only allowed his to apply his knowledge in renewable energies but also fueled her interest in further exploring the field of industrial engineering, with a focus on sustainability and technological innovation.
This interest led his to enroll in a Master´s in Industrial Engineering at the Public University of Navarra (UPNA/NUP), specializing in renewable energies and electricity. During his master´s, Maren received first place in the 2023 Renewable Energy Challenge at the Public University of Navarra, an accolade that underscores his commitment and skill in the field of renewable energies. This program is enriching his knowledge in advanced industrial and energy systems, preparing his to tackle more complex challenges and make significant contributions in the field of engineering.
Maren is currently finalizing his Master´s Thesis at CIC energiGUNE, focusing on the innovative field of dry electrode processing
