Pierre Stigliano earned his B.Sc. in Materials Science from the University of Milan-Bicocca in November 2017. For his bachelor thesis, he worked at De Nora industries on the design and characterization of Gas Diffusion Electrodes for Zinc/Air batteries.
He continued in the same field and earned his M.Sc. in April 2020, spending a semester at the University of Aix-Marseille as an ERASMUS student. For his master thesis, he worked on highly concentrated aqueous electrolytes for application in supercapacitors and ionic liquid-based electrolytes for Na-ion batteries.
Since October 2020, he started a PhD with a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship as part of ETN POLYSTORAGE project in cotutelle between Deakin University and POLYMAT. His work is focused on Gel Polymer Electrolytes for Sodium/Air batteries.
