Listen here to the tour we have made of the CIC Energigune, described as one of the best scientific facilities in Europe in the field of energy storage. Scientists of 14 nationalities are working to - for example - generate batteries to power our mobile phone, our computer or an electric car. The aim is to achieve cheaper, safer products and more efficient manufacturing processes for these energy ´containers´, which are essential for, among other things, alleviating energy dependence on the fossil resources that we have exhausted and with which we have polluted our environment so much.
