The European Union has highlighted the "success" of a project led by the CIC energiGUNE centre in Miñano (Álava) that is developing more efficient and reliable batteries for space.
In its October newsletter, the European Commission´s information portal, which includes the main activities in research and development, refers to the "Monbasa" project promoted by CIC enegiGUNE in collaboration with Tecnalia and the companies Gencoa (United Kingdom) and Nanospace (Sweden).
This project, according to this research centre in a note, was carried out between June 2016 and May 2018 and had an economic contribution from the EU of almost one million euros.
