Leader of the Advanced Interface Analysis group and of the Surface Analysis platform at the Basque research centre, Miguel Ángel Muñoz has been invited by the Spanish Royal Society of Physics (RSEF), the leading scientific institution in Spain in this field, to be a board member of its Energy Group as from the beginning of this year.

Miguel Ángel Muñoz, CIC energiGUNE researcher and group leader in the Power Storage Area, has been invited by the Spanish Royal Society of Physics (RSEF) to be a member of the Board of Governors of its Specialist Energy Group. Dr. Muñoz has joined the board as from this month of January, when the first annual board meeting has been held.

A member and associate researcher at CIC energiGUNE since October 2011, Dr. Muñoz is currently the leader of the Advanced Interface Analysis group and of the Surface Analysis platform at the research centre. He has extensive research experience in surface structure determination, interface and surface analysis, energy storage and conversion, and vapour phase deposition.

The Spanish Royal Society of Physics is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to promote the development of physics in the aspects of basic knowledge and its applications, and to encourage scientific research and teaching in all fields of education.
