Energy storage is no longer a future challenge: it is one of the defining conditions for building a resilient, flexible and decarbonized energy system. With this perspective, ENERSTOCK 2027 will gather the international energy storage community in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, from October 6th to October 8th, 2027, as part of the IEA Energy Storage TCP International Conference series.
The conference will offer an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging technologies, and explore the role of storage in the energy transition. The programme will address key developments across thermal, electrical, and chemical energy storage, power-to-X technologies and the integration of storage solutions into existing and future energy systems.
CIC energiGUNE is honored to host this edition. As a research center focused on thermal and electrochemical energy storage, we are especially pleased to welcome the ENERSTOCK community to Vitoria-Gasteiz and to contribute to a meeting that reflects the cross-cutting relevance of energy storage.
