Ander holds a PhD in Renewable Materials Engineering (2017) from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). His PhD was focused on the development of novel biocomposites materials reinforced with cellulosic fibers. Afterwards, he worked as Post-Doctoral researcher at UPV/EHU within the `Materials + Technologies´ Group (GMT), where he continued his research activity in the development of novel nanocomposites based on thermoplastic polymers and cellulosic fibers. Since January 2019, Ander is based at CIC energiGUNE, where he works as Post-Doctoral researcher in the Cells & Electrochemical Testing group. His research activity is focused on the development of ceramic and ceramic-polymer electrolytes for solid state battery technology. He is interested in high voltage batteries including the cathode formulation, electrochemical stability, ionic conductivity, etc.
