Andrés Soler obtained a Bachelor´s Degree in Chemistry at the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón) in 2021. Later, in 2023, he completed a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Chemistry, offered by the Universitat Politècnica de València together with Universitat Jaume I. During his master´s thesis, he focused on the area of surfactants, where under the supervision of Dr. García-Verdugo, he worked on the formulation of emulsions based on natural-origin surfactants with active components for potential cosmetic applications.
Thanks to the UJI WORLD grant in 2022, he moved to Germany where he applied his theoretical knowledge in practical environments, collaborating on projects that addressed the optimization of the synthesis of non-ionic surfactants and the synthesis of novel surfactants derived from amino acids.
Currently, he is Laboratory Technician in the research line of Na-ion Batteries, within the area of Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion at CIC energiGUNE.
