Dr. Arianna Pesce obtained her Master´s degree in Material Science and Engineering in 2017 at the University of Genoa, Italy, working on cathode/electrolyte barrier layer in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells in the frame of the European project ENDURANCE. She carried out her Ph.D. at the Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya (IREC), Barcelona under the supervision of Dr. Tarancón. She worked on 3D printing of ceramic materials for energy-storage devices, such as SOFC, SOEC and Sabatier reactor. She collaborated with the European project Cell3Ditor, aiming to the production of a commercial SOFC stack in a single printing and a single sintering step. To achieve this result, she integrated stereo-lithography and robocasting technologies to enable multi-material manufacturing and developed the relative printable feedstock. In 2020, she realized a six months stay at the Fraunhofer Institute for Microengineering and Microsystem (IMM), Mainz to work on the structuration of micro-channel reactors for methane production. She successfully defended her Ph.D. in Material Science at UAB (Barcelona) in 2021 with International and Cum Laude mentions. At present, she is a postdoctoral researcher at CIC energiGUNE of the Advanced Electrolytes and Cells integration group.
