She graduated in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in 2021. In her last year, she took part in two different projects at Instituto de Catálisis y Petroleoquímia (ICP) from CSIC. They were focused on exploitation of lignocellulosic biomass through its fractioning with alkali pretreatment and the analysis of Cu-Zn bimetallic catalysts deactivation. In 2021, she started a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU), with a study line in BioEnergy. Blanca joined CIC energiGUNE in 2022 for an internship, where she is working with PCMs (phase changing materials) for the development of TES systems.
