Bryan Rocano finished his studies in Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2021. He did his final degree work on detection and quantification of emerging pollutants in wastewater. Subsequently, he took a postgraduate course in Tools for Development in the Chemical Industry, which allowed him to do an internship in a multinational manufacturing company. Due to his performance in this experience, he was offered a job as a Graduate Engineer where he was included in a project on energy and raw material savings and efficiency.
In 2023, he obtained the Araba Talent scholarship that allowed him to pursue higher studies abroad and, once completed, to join an entity in Alava, Basque Country. Thus, in September 2023, he started a Master of science in Sustainable Energy and Green Technologies at University College Dublin (UCD Dublin) in Ireland which he completed in August 2024.
He is currently working at CIC energiGUNE as a pre-doctoral researcher focused on the development of sustainable fuels from waste valorisation.
