David Fraile Insagurbe obtained the degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of the Basque Country in 2020. He carried out at the university his Final Degree Project in the development of catalyst for the methanation of carbon dioxide. In February 2020 he joined CIC energiGUNE to complete the mandatory internship for his degree, working on new solid-state polymer electrolytes. He is studying a Master´s degree in Advanced Materials Engineering at the University of the Basque Country and has completed his Master’s thesis at CIC energiGUNE focused on new polymer electrolytes for lithium-metal batteries. In February 2022, he joined CIC energiGUNE as a laboratory technician within the Advanced Electrolytes and Cell Integration group.
