EMILIE BEKAERT
GROUP LEADER
Electrochemical testing lab aims to test the electrochemical response of any electrochemical energy systems (i.e. battery materials, batteries, super-capacitors, customized cells, etc.). Typical electrochemical protocol would be galvanostatic cycling, cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, C-rates and more in-depth analysis such as GITT, PITT can also be realized. The electrochemical testing could be performed at various temperature (from -70ºC up to 180ºC) and using various currents (from microamps to several amps).
Testing equipment available at CIC energiGUNE is useful for a wide range of applications:
- Materials
- Half-cell battery
- Full cell (Li-ion, Na-ion, all solid state, etc.) battery
- Redox flow battery
- Battery pack
- Supercapacitor
- Li-ion and Na-ion capacitors
- Metal air cells
- Microbatteries
