Elena Dosal is Chemical Engineer an official Master´s Degree in Chemical Engineering, "Sustainable Production and Consumption", and PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering, with international mention, in the School of Industrial Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Cantabria.
She started her professional career by collaborating in research projects in the Green Engineering and Resources (GER) research group, of the Department of Chemistry and Process and Resource Engineering of the University of Cantabria. During this period, she had the opportunity to develop her experience in project management, data processing and analysis, industrial processes, as well as the application of decision-making tools (optimization, simulation, among others).
After completing her PhD in 2016, she started a professional period as a data analyst and industrial process optimization engineer, her main tasks were the analysis of process documentation, big data analysis and the application of data mining algorithms for the development of predictive models that optimize industrial processes in real-time.
In June 2019, joined Fundacion INATEC, an industrial research center, as R&D Project Technician, managing projects related with industry 4.0, circular economy and application of new technologies for the recycling of complex solid waste.
Since August 2023, Elena Dosal joined the Business Development area of CIC energiGUNE to contribute with her experience and knowledge by supporting the development of the center´s research activity.
