Izaskun Serna Tamayo graduated in Chemical Engineering at the University of the Basque Country in 2021. Her Final Degree Thesis dealt with the dynamic studies of the flow in porous media of a supersaturated hydroxyapatite solution and the influence of the interface on the supersaturation. In September 2020, she started her internship at Sea Marconi Energía y Medio Ambiente S.L.U., working as a support to the technical, commercial and administrative departments. Currently, she is studying a Master´s in Sustainable Energy Engineering at the University of the Basque Country, which began in September 2021 and has completed her Master´s Thesis with the Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Vizcaya, focused on water meters.
In 2023, she obtained her Master´s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering at the University of the Basque Country, where she carried out her Master´s thesis on water meters together with the Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia. In March 2023, she joined CIC energiGUNE as a laboratory technician in the Advanced Electrolyte and Cell Integration group.
