Dr. Lakshmipriya Musuvadhi Babulal finished her master’s in chemistry in 2014 at Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. After completing her master, she joined as Project Assistant at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) in Multifunctional electrodes, and electrolytes for future technologies project from 2015 to 2017 under the guidance of Dr. G.N.K. Ramesh Bapu, Chief Scientist, in Electroplating Metal Finishing Technology Division, CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi, India.
She obtained her PhD degree in 2021 at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), New Taipei City, Taiwan and her PhD thesis title is synthesis of high scalable, uniform, high energy density LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 positive active material and their surface modification for lithium-ion battery”, under the supervision of Professor Chun-Chen Yang, Director in Battery Research Center of Green Energy, MCUT, Taiwan. Her doctoral thesis research focuses on synthesis of Ni-rich LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 (NCM811) cathode materials through continuous Taylor flow reactor (1 L capacity) and surface modification on synthesized Ni-rich LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 via wet chemical approach and dry coating approach through mechanofusion reaction. During her PhD, she has published several SCI papers with high impact factor and handled the Taiwan-German project and solid-state lithium metal batteries project funded by MOST, Taiwan.
She is currently working at CIC energiGUNE as a postdoctoral researcher in the "Advanced Electrode Materials" group.
