LU BAI

Presentation

Lu Bai obtained her B.Sc. degree in Polymer Materials Science and Engineering from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology in 2014 and M.Sc. degree in physical chemistry from Shanghai University in 2017. During 2015-2017, she carried out her master thesis at Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her master´s research project won the first prize in the interdisciplinary training program in Shanghai. From 2017 to 2022, she pursued her Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Jean-François Gohy at Université catholique de Louvain. Her research topic during PhD focused on different types of solid-state electrolytes and their applications in lithium metal batteries. Her research interests include the design, synthesis, characterization, and application of organic and inorganic materials in solid-state electrolytes and solid-state lithium metal batteries.

Currently, Lu Bai works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Advanced Electrolyte Integration group, within the area of Electrochemical Energy Storage.
