Dr. Marta Cabello obtained a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Jaén in 2012. She received her M. Sc. in Global Change: Natural Resources and Sustainability in 2013 from the University of Córdoba. In 2015 she achieved a research fellowship from the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain to carry out her doctoral thesis entitled "Materials for developing new lithium-ion batteries and post-lithium ones" in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Córdoba, completing her PhD in Chemistry in 2018. She obtained the cum laude and the international doctorate mentions. In addition, during her PhD she did a research stay for three months in the School of Chemistry at the University of Manchester, where she worked with graphene, supercapacitors, and electron paramagnetic resonance technique. After finishing her PhD, she continued with the study of nanomaterials as electrodes for post-lithium batteries through a postdoc position during seven months at the University of Córdoba. Since June 2019 she is a postdoctoral researcher at CIC energiGUNE in the Fabrication & Processing, proof of concept, prototyping group where she works with high energy electrodes for advanced batteries.
