MEHDI HASHEMITILEHNOEE

Presentation

Mehdi Hashemi-Tilehnoee received his B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from Mazandaran University, Iran, in 2005. He worked for a short time in a steam cycle power plant. In 2006, he decided to change his educational path to study non-fossil energy sources. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Thermal hydraulics/Nuclear Engineering in 2007, and 2013, from Shiraz University, and the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University, respectively. In his Ph.D. thesis, he studied the fluid flow and heat transfer performance of a fuel assembly by two-fluid model and drift-flux model.

During his Ph.D., he worked as an R&D member in a design and engineering company from 2008-2010. Then, in 2010, he was employed as a member of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Islamic Azad University of Iran. He made different international collaborations during these years. He is a reviewer of different international journals and is a member of the editorial board of the journal of nanofluids. In September 2021, he joined CIC energiGUNE as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the “Heat Transfer Intensification” group of the Thermal Energy Storage (TES) area.
