Dr. Nicola Boaretto obtained a PhD in Materials Science in 2016 at the University of Padua, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer ISC Institute of Würzburg, with a project on hybrid inorganic-organic polymer electrolytes for lithium metal batteries. Between 2016 and 2017, as a postdoctoral researcher at the Fraunhofer ISC, he participated in several public and industrial projects, focused mainly on the development of components for lithium batteries. In 2018 he moved to the IMDEA Energy Institute of Madrid, where he worked on flexible and multifunctional lithium-ion batteries. Dr. Nicola Boaretto joined CIC Energigune in 2019, as a postdoctoral researcher, working on the development of polymer and composite electrolytes for lithium batteries.
