Dr. Nikita Akhmetov received his master´s degree in Chemistry in Novosibirsk State University (Novosibirsk, Russia) in 2019. In 2023, he completed a Ph.D. in the Materials Science and Engineering program at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Moscow, Russia). Nikita’s research was focused on the solid electrolytes development for Li-metal hybrid flow batteries. It involved the material design, physico-chemical and electrochemical characterization of solid electrolytes, and their life tests within the hybrid battery cells. This work was performed within the project of the joint Skoltech-MIT Next Generation Program (2020-2022). In February 2024, Nikita joined CIC energiGUNE as a postdoctoral researcher. Overall, he has contributed to 11 publications in scientific journals and attracted 57 citations; his H-index is 5.
