Nuria Gómez received her Chemistry degree at the University of Basque Country in 2007. Afterwards, she joined the Energy department of IK4-Ikerlan with a two years grant (Especialización y Desarrollo Tecnologico) to work in the field of metallic supported Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs). During this period at Ikerlan (2007-2011), her work has been focused in learning about metallic and ceramic materials (preparation of slurries, rheological studies, deposition of ceramics layers with different techniques and sintering techniques with controlled atmospheres), electrochemical characterization and materials conductivity measurements and structural characterization with SEM. Nowadays she is working at CIC energiGUNE as lab technician, assisting different research projects related to energy storage materials. Her work is focused in synthesis, electrode preparation and structural and electrochemical characterisation. She is also familiar with different characterisation techniques such as XRD, SEM, ICP and others.
