More than 20 years of experience in Research and Development Energy oriented activities from university, through research institutes, consultancy and industry fields.

During her PhD at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) her activity was related to heterogeneous catalysis for automotive catalysts development. Within this field, her research activity was focus on solid state synthesis reactions for the obtaining of ceramic materials as catalyst support.

She moved from materials synthesis reactions to polymers development field as responsible of Surface Chemistry Area in TEKNIKER research center. The research activity in the area was focus on lubricants and greases development, along with the establishment of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies for analysis the environmental impact of these products.

Afterwards, she had the opportunity to develop project management skills in a consultancy firm helping to the regional industry to identify and financing their research and innovation activities.

Later on she worked more than 8 years in the power electronics industry as Innovation Coordinator, mainly devoted to the integration of energy storage technologies in different applications, also assuming the management of Intellectual Property Rights assets. During this stage she was the leader of energy storage projects, mainly working in redox flow batteries development and flywheels and being the main representative of the company in all relevant European and national associations and working groups.
