Born in Paris in 1998, Rémy Lecordier has always been interested in sciences and technologies. When he got his high school diploma in 2016, he decided to do an associate degree in Instrumentations and Measurements in Marseille. During these two years, he discovered many subjects but one was his favorite: material sciences. In 2018, he did an internship in the Physic Institute of Sao Carlos in Brazil. Rémy studied TiO2 nanotubes and SnO2 applied as gas sensors, supervised by Dr. Renato V. Goncalves. With regards to synthesis, he has experience making anodization and sputtering methods as direct current (DC) and radio frequency (RF). And with regards to materials characterization, Rémy knows x-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy. At the end of 2018, Rémy studied in Marseille in a third-year degree in materials for electronics and energy in order to complete his knowledge in materials sciences. Since 2019, always in Marseille, Rémy does a master´s degree in Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies with the objective to work in the energy storage field. Because of the sanitary crisis, he couldn’t join the CIC energiGUNE in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain to do the first-year internship during spring 2020. In February of 2021, Rémy joined the group of Advance Electrode Materials at CIC energiGUNE as an intern supervised by D. Gene Nolis. His work will be to investigate Na3 Fe1-x Co3 PO4 polyanionic materials and to develop strategies to enhance the electrochemical performance of the polyanionic cathode material.
