Dr. Rubén Gutiérrez Amo is a Mechanical Engineer and Ph.D. who has a strong background in Computational Fluid Dynamics for wind industry problems. In 2017, he obtained his degree from the Faculty of Engineering of Vitoria-Gasteiz (UPV/EHU) and later in 2019 pursued a Master of Science in Computational and Applied Mechanical Engineering from the Public University of Navarra (UPNA). During his studies, he interned at the National Renewable Energy Center of Spain (CENER), where he gained experience in vortex generators and CFD. Before joining CIC energiGUNE, Dr. Gutiérrez Amo worked as an Aerodynamics Blade Engineer at Nordex SE for 6 years where he completed his Ph.D. in collaboration with UPNA and Delft University of Technology, obtaining cum-laude and international mentions.

Since September 2024, Rubén works as Engineer in Cell design and manufacturing group.
