Sidra Parveen obtained her master’s degree in chemistry from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore, where she focused on the synthesis and electrochemical characterization of electrode materials for supercapacitor applications. Her research experience includes electrochemical performance evaluation of energy storage materials, development of hydrogel electrolytes, and design of flexible device architectures for energy storage systems.
She worked on a MXene-based flexible electrode project at Xián Jiaotong University (XJTU), China, where MXene electrodes were integrated with a synthesized hydrogel electrolyte to develop a flexible solid-state supercapacitor system. This work focused on improving ionic conductivity, interfacial compatibility, and mechanical stability for flexible energy storage applications.
She has been awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) fellowship and is currently enrolled as a predoctoral researcher at CIC energiGUNE, where she is focusing on the development of advanced electrolytes for metal ion capacitors.
