SRIKANTH SALYAN

Presentation

Srikanth Salyan graduated as a mechanical engineer at Bangalore University and later did his Master and Ph.D in National Institute of Tiruchirapalli, India in the field of Thermal energy storage and nano materials. Pre his research work, he has valuable industrial experience at Defence Reserachand Development laboratory(DRDO), India and Robert Boscch Engineering Solutions where he mainly participated in various design and development projects. In early 2024, he joined in GITSE (Group of Thermal Engineering and Energy Systems), belonging to the Aragón Institute for Engineering Research (I3A) of the Univesrsity of Zaragoza (Spain), as N2 Doctoral Researcher.

As a researcher he joined CIC energiGUNE as post doctoral researcher in the area of Thermal Energy Storage and Conversion.

  • Thermal energy storage prototype design and development and testing.

Awards

  • Received an Indian Patent for Design and Development of Novel Thermal energy storage system with Metal Inserts.
