Dr. Teresa Aguilar received her PhD in 2015 from Universidad de Cádiz (Spain). Her work was performed at the Physical Chemistry department and dealt with synthesis, development and characterization of doped semiconductor nanoparticles with a wide band gap for photocatalytic and photovoltaic applications.
From 2015 to 2019 his research work focused on the improvement of thermophysical properties of nanofluids for being used as heat transfer fluid in Concentrated Solar Power Plants.
She currently has joined to CIC energiGUNE as Posdoctoral researcher in Thermal energy storage group (TES). Her work involves the development of mixed metal oxide for hydrogen production by means of water splitting.
