Nowadays Mikel is working on his PhD at CIC energiGUNE as a member of the Thermal Energy Storage (TES) group, focusing on the study of phase transitions and critical behaviors. He obtained his degree on renewable energy engineering on 2018 at UPV/EHU and finished his master´s degree on renewable materials engineering on 2019. In both cases, he made internships at CIC energiGUNE to work on his degree and master´s degree dissertations, based on the study of sensible and latent heat storage respectively.
