Naiara Etxebarria has a degree in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV EHU, 2016). She developed the final project of the degree in the Department of Organic Chemistry II of the University, focusing on the synthesis and characterization (IR, NMR, MS) of compounds derived from dilignol, which are valuable candidates for studies of lignin cleavage and valorization.
Once she finished her degree, she did the Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Ramon Llull University (IQS,URL) of Barcelona. The final project of the master was developed between the university and the company Archroma Iberica S.L., the latter’s activity is focused in the development and manufactured of paper and textile dyes. The final project was focused on the research of manufactured dyes for pharmaceutical use. Besides that, she was also working in the company as R&D laboratory technician, developing new dyes and improving old ones.
Currently, since January of 2020, she is working at CIC energiGUNE as a laboratory technician in the development of new cathodes for lithium batteries.
