BASQUEVOLT is an ambitious project focused on the production of solid state cells that aims to be a reference gigafactory in Europe in this type of batteries with an estimated production of 10GWh in 2027.

In line with the European Battery Strategy, driven by Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič, BASQUEVOLT will work with other European partners to accelerate the development of the battery value chain by strengthening the industry on the Continent. 

BASQUEVOLT will supply solid-state cell technologies to three main sectors: automotive, heavy transport and the stationary sector through different electrochemistries , working in collaboration with the needs of the partners.
