Dr. Chunmei Li obtained a European joined Ph. D degree on Material Science in 2014. The Ph. D thesis was carried out between University of St Andrews (UK) with Prof. Peter G. Bruce and Universite de Picardie Jules Verne (France) with Prof. Jean-Marie Tarascon. The research was focused on the fundamental studies of non-aqueous Li-O2 batteries, mainly the mechanism of O2 reduction in aprotic solvents.

Prior to her Ph. D, she received Master of Science from ‘Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion' an Erasmus Mundus Programme, which was focused on the studies of electrode materials and characterization techniques for Li-ion batteries. As part of the Master programme, she studied in Aix-Marseille Universite (France), Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) and Universidad de Cordoba (Spain) before she spent 7 months in University of Uppsala (Sweden) for her Master thesis on nanomaterials for photocatalyst.

She is currently a post-doc researcher in CIC Energigune. Her research interest is focused on the new electrode materials and electrolytes for Li-S batteries.
