In 2008 I got my degree in physics at Rosario National University in Rosario, Argentina, with a thesis based on reaction dynamics simulations between gases and metallic surfaces from first principles. Afterwards I got my phD in 2013 on the same topic under the supervision of Dr. Heriberto Fabio Busnengo at the Rosario Institute of Physics (IFIR) holding a scolarship from the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).

At the same time, since 2008 up to 2014 I held a teaching assistant position at the Physics department of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying at Rosario. During that period my teaching duties were to assist in the Mechanics and Thermodynamics courses for Engineering careers.

Since November 2014 I started a joint position as a postdoc fellow between the BCAM and CIC energiGUNE under the supervision of Elena Akhmatskaya and Javier Carrasco, respectively. My research project consist on the computational modelling of nanoparticles to be used in sodium-ion cathodes, these materials posses potential aplications in a new generation of low cost batteries. The model system is currently the olvine structure of NaFePO4. The theoretical study consists in a combined approach with first principles calculations based on the Density Functional Theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics simulations by using atomistic force fields.
