The event is part of CIC energiGUNE’s activities within IMAGE project (Innovative manufacturing routes for next-generation batteries in Europe, GA 769929) that aims to contribute to sustainably develop the European Li-battery cell manufacturing competence and capability by creating a competitive, production-oriented research framework within Europe.
The consortium, coordinated by AVL, is formed by 13 high performing partners: VUB, BMW Group, VARTA Microbattery, UMICORE, ARKEMA France, Hydro-Quebec, CIC energiGUNE, CIDETEC Energy Storage, RWTH Aachen, TU Graz, VARTA Storage and MANZ Italy. The project, started in November 2017, will end this October 2021.
