Edurne Jaime Barquero is graduated in Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (2019). She did her Final Degree project at the Faculty of Chemistry of Donostia in the IDeKA group (Image Analysis and Chemometrics) on the determination of food dyes in solid samples by image analysis and chemometrics. This project was presented by Poster at the "X Colloquium Chemometricum Mediterraneum" in 2019. Subsequently, she completed the Master’s degree in Chemistry and Polymers at the University of the Basque Country (2020). She developed her Master´s Thesis at Cidetec Surface Engineering, for which she developed a methodology for the control of Electroless Nickel baths where PTFE particles were determined by image analysis and chemometrics, together with coating analysis techniques. After finishing her studies, she continued her research in the IDeKa group together with Cidetec Surface Engineering, in the PTFE determination method. She is currently working as a predoctoral researcher on the thesis “Novel in operando and ex situ non-destructive battery analytical development” at CIC energiGUNE.
