Elias Lobato graduated in Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (2018), developing the Final Degree Project at the same university, where he performed the synthesis of nitrogenous heterocycles. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he received a FARO scholarship to conduct a 6-month research project at the University of South Australia, Adelaide. The project was based on the synthesis and characterization of new polymeric materials for the release of hydrophobic drugs. Finally, he studied the official master´s degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Barcelona (2019), where he developed his Master´s Thesis that consisted of the synthesis of natural compounds.
In January 2020, Elias joins CIC energiGUNE within the group of Cells and electrochemical testing as a laboratory technician.
