Rhoy is a Masters´s student in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (MESC+). As part of the MESC+ mobility framework, he studied his 1st semester in Politechnika Warszawska, Poland, and recently finished his 2nd semester at Université Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier, France. Before studying MESC+, he worked as a production supervisor in a lead-acid battery manufacturing company in the Philippines for 3 years. In 2017, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, Philippines.
Currently, Rhoy is doing his summer internship in CIC energiGUNE, and is working on a cobalt-free, high voltage cathode scale-up.
