Maddalen Agirre received her Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (2012). She performed the University Master in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry at the group of Prof. Fernando P. Cossío and obtained her PhD on asymmetric organocatalysis under the supervision of Prof. Fernando P. Cossío Mora and Maria de Gracia Retamosa (January 2019). As a predoctoral student she visited Université de Rennes 1 for a short stay at the group of Prof. Bertrand Carboni and Dr. François Carreaux, working on the field of [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangements.
