Min Yi Loh obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2019. During her last year, she carried out her bachelor thesis with a title on the potential of etherified poly(vinyl alcohol), PVA as polymer electrolyte materials under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Azizan Bin Ahmad. The main objective of this project was synthesis and characterization of poly(propyl vinyl ether), PPVE for lithium-ion battery application. PPVE was synthesized through etherification process where PVA and various concentration of iodopropane was reacted with different molarity of NaOH. After her bachelor’s degree, she served as an intern in brazing alloy industry. In 2020, she engaged as a R&D chemist in additives for paint and coating field. Between 2021 and 2022, she worked as a quality engineer in electronic assembly sector. In September 2022, Min Yi started a scholarship in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion+ Program about Materials Science and Electrochemistry.
